My collegue Dion pointed out this video which shares the great work Counties Manukau Health are doing on providing care for people with serious or complicated mental health concerns. We provided some of the joinery featured in the video.
The project was for Tiaho Mai who provide 24 hour mental health treatment services for people with serious or complicated mental health concerns. They provide a safe environment where people can stay for short periods of time. Their goal is to help people reach a point where they can safely access other mental health services.
Tiaho Mai residential services are situated on the grounds of Middlemore Hospital, near the rear Colvin Complex. They can currently can hold up to 52 residents in their various wards.
